A guide to uninstall ShareX from your PC

ShareX is a software application. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. It was developed for Windows by ShareX Team. Go over here where you can read more on ShareX Team. Please open https://getsharex.com if you want to read more on ShareX on ShareX Team's web page. ShareX is usually installed in the C:\Program Files\ShareX folder, but this location can vary a lot depending on the user's choice when installing the program. You can uninstall ShareX by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. ShareX.exe is the ShareX's primary executable file and it occupies close to 1.69 MB (1776640 bytes) on disk.

The following executables are incorporated in ShareX. They take 2.82 MB (2955193 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall ShareX from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application released by the software company ShareX Team. Some people decide to remove it. Sometimes this is hard because removing this manually requires some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE procedure to remove ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate ShareX or simply click the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it exists on your system the ShareX application will be found very quickly. After you select ShareX in the list , some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The publisher is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ShareX.


8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
