Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. ShareX's primary file takes around 2.20 MB (2305536 bytes) and its name is ShareX.exe.

A way to remove ShareX from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is a program by the software company ShareX Team. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove it. This can be difficult because performing this by hand requires some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE way to remove ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your computer.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it is installed on your PC the ShareX application will be found very quickly. When you click ShareX in the list , some data about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ShareX:

• The software company is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove ShareX.


8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing ShareX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
