A guide to uninstall ShareX from your system

ShareX has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall ShareX:

How to erase ShareX with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is a program offered by ShareX Team. Some computer users choose to uninstall it. This can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ShareX or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ShareX". If it is installed on your PC the ShareX application will be found automatically. After you select ShareX in the list of programs, some information about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about ShareX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The web site of the application is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall ShareX.


8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
