If you are manually uninstalling ShareX we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

The files below are left behind on your disk when you remove ShareX:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo\ShareX.lnk

A way to remove ShareX from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application released by ShareX Team. Sometimes, computer users choose to uninstall this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it exists on your system the ShareX program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click ShareX in the list , the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of ShareX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
