How to uninstall ShareX from your computer

This web page contains detailed information on how to remove ShareX for Windows. The Windows release was created by ShareX Team. More information on ShareX Team can be found here. More data about the app ShareX can be found at . Usually the ShareX application is placed in the C:\Program Files\ShareX folder, depending on the user's option during setup. The entire uninstall command line for ShareX is C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe. ShareX.exe is the ShareX's primary executable file and it occupies circa 2.10 MB (2206720 bytes) on disk.

The following executables are installed along with ShareX. They take about 108.67 MB (113952952 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete ShareX with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is a program released by ShareX Team. Frequently, people want to remove this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand takes some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY way to remove ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your system.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it exists on your system the ShareX application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click ShareX in the list of programs, some data about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about ShareX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove ShareX.

8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
