How to uninstall ShareX from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is a program offered by ShareX Team. Sometimes, users want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be hard because performing this by hand requires some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY way to uninstall ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate ShareX or simply click the Search feature and type in "ShareX". The ShareX app will be found very quickly. After you click ShareX in the list , some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ShareX:

• The publisher is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of ShareX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
