How to uninstall ShareX from your PC

Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. ShareX.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 1.92 MB (2011648 bytes) on disk.

How to delete ShareX with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application by the software company ShareX Team. Some people try to erase it. This is troublesome because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it is installed on your PC the ShareX program will be found very quickly. When you click ShareX in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ShareX.

8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of ShareX that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
