When planning to uninstall ShareX you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

How to delete ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application released by ShareX Team. Frequently, computer users try to erase this application. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand takes some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY practice to erase ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find ShareX or simply click the Search feature and type in "ShareX". If it is installed on your PC the ShareX program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click ShareX in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The publisher is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall ShareX.


8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
