A way to uninstall ShareX from your PC

You can find below detailed information on how to remove ShareX for Windows. The Windows release was developed by ShareX Team. More information on ShareX Team can be seen here. More info about the software ShareX can be seen at https://getsharex.com. ShareX is usually set up in the C:\Program Files\ShareX folder, regulated by the user's option. The full command line for uninstalling ShareX is C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for admin rights. ShareX.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 2.20 MB (2307584 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is a program released by ShareX Team. Frequently, people choose to erase it. Sometimes this can be difficult because removing this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK solution to erase ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find ShareX or simply click the Search field and type in "ShareX". The ShareX app will be found automatically. When you click ShareX in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding ShareX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ShareX:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall ShareX.


8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of ShareX that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
