Several files, folders and registry data can not be deleted when you want to remove ShareX from your PC.

The files below are left behind on your disk when you remove ShareX:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\CLR_v4.0\UsageLogs\ShareX.exe.log

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

How to remove ShareX from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application released by the software company ShareX Team. Some people decide to remove this program. This is hard because uninstalling this manually requires some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY solution to remove ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it exists on your system the ShareX program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click ShareX in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding ShareX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
