How to uninstall ShareX from your PC

Note that you might get a notification for administrator rights. ShareX's primary file takes about 1.84 MB (1934336 bytes) and is named ShareX.exe.

ShareX installs the following the executables on your PC, occupying about 5.78 MB (6057944 bytes) on disk.

  • ShareX.exe (1.84 MB)

How to uninstall ShareX from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application by ShareX Team. Sometimes, users choose to remove it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK way to remove ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate ShareX or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ShareX". The ShareX program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select ShareX in the list of apps, the following data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall ShareX.

8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of ShareX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
