How to uninstall ShareX from your system

ShareX is a Windows program. Read more about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows version was developed by ShareX Team. You can find out more on ShareX Team or check for application updates here. Detailed information about ShareX can be seen at https://getsharex.com. Usually the ShareX application is placed in the C:\Program Files\ShareX directory, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for uninstalling ShareX is C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file occupies 2.10 MB (2206720 bytes) on disk and is labeled ShareX.exe.

A way to uninstall ShareX from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application offered by ShareX Team. Frequently, people decide to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this by hand requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find ShareX or simply click the Search feature and type in "ShareX". The ShareX app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click ShareX in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding ShareX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The publisher is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of ShareX that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling ShareX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
