A guide to uninstall NVDA from your computer

This web page contains detailed information on how to uninstall NVDA for Windows. It was coded for Windows by NV Access. You can read more on NV Access or check for application updates here. Please open if you want to read more on NVDA on NV Access's website. NVDA is commonly installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder, depending on the user's choice. C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe is the full command line if you want to uninstall NVDA. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 44.09 KB (45144 bytes) on disk.

The following executables are installed alongside NVDA. They take about 440.39 KB (450960 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete NVDA from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is an application offered by the software company NV Access. Sometimes, users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY manner to erase NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to clean your PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate NVDA or simply click the Search feature and type in "NVDA". If it exists on your system the NVDA application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select NVDA in the list of programs, the following data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about NVDA, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for NVDA:





  • The publisher is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove NVDA.

8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of NVDA that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing NVDA using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
