How to uninstall NVDA from your PC

This web page contains detailed information on how to remove NVDA for Windows. The Windows release was created by NV Access. Take a look here where you can get more info on NV Access. Please open if you want to read more on NVDA on NV Access's web page. NVDA is commonly installed in the C:\Program Files\NVDA folder, depending on the user's option. You can remove NVDA by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\NVDA\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for administrator rights. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the programs's main file and it takes about 72.67 KB (74416 bytes) on disk.

NVDA is composed of the following executables which take 638.12 KB (653432 bytes) on disk:

  • nvda_uiAccess.exe (72.67 KB)
  • nvda_eoaProxy.exe (66.67 KB)
  • nvda_noUIAccess.exe (72.67 KB)
  • nvda_slave.exe (68.17 KB)
  • uninstall.exe (95.91 KB)

A way to remove NVDA using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program offered by the software company NV Access. Some computer users try to erase this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find NVDA or simply click the Search field and type in "NVDA". If it is installed on your PC the NVDA application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select NVDA in the list of apps, some data about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for NVDA:





  • The publisher is: https://www.nvaccess.org/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall NVDA.

8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling NVDA using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
