How to uninstall NVDA from your PC

Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file occupies 44.09 KB (45144 bytes) on disk and is labeled nvda_uiAccess.exe.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

A way to erase NVDA with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program by NV Access. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this is hard because removing this manually requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find NVDA or simply click the Search feature and type in "NVDA". If it exists on your system the NVDA application will be found very quickly. After you select NVDA in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding NVDA, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
For instance you can see that for NVDA:





  • The publisher is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove NVDA.

8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
