A guide to uninstall NVDA from your computer

You can find on this page detailed information on how to remove NVDA for Windows. It was coded for Windows by NV Access. Check out here for more details on NV Access. More details about NVDA can be seen at https://www.nvaccess.org/. Usually the NVDA program is installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder, depending on the user's option during install. NVDA's entire uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. NVDA's main file takes about 76.91 KB (78752 bytes) and is called nvda_uiAccess.exe.

The following executables are incorporated in NVDA. They occupy 745.20 KB (763088 bytes) on disk.

How to remove NVDA from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is an application by the software company NV Access. Some computer users want to uninstall it. This can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY procedure to uninstall NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your computer.

• visit Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find NVDA or simply activate the Search feature and type in "NVDA". If it exists on your system the NVDA app will be found automatically. When you select NVDA in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for NVDA:

• The web site of the program is: https://www.nvaccess.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall NVDA.


8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of NVDA that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
