A guide to uninstall NVDA from your system

This web page contains thorough information on how to remove NVDA for Windows. The Windows version was developed by NV Access. Further information on NV Access can be seen here. More info about the application NVDA can be seen at https://www.nvaccess.org/. NVDA is normally set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder, subject to the user's choice. The full command line for removing NVDA is C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the NVDA's primary executable file and it occupies around 72.67 KB (74416 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall NVDA with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is an application offered by NV Access. Frequently, computer users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE approach to uninstall NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate NVDA or simply activate the Search feature and type in "NVDA". If it exists on your system the NVDA application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click NVDA in the list , some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for NVDA:

• The publisher is: https://www.nvaccess.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove NVDA.


8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling NVDA using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
