How to uninstall NVDA from your PC

This page is about NVDA for Windows. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. NVDA's primary file takes around 71.93 KB (73656 bytes) and is called nvda_uiAccess.exe.

How to remove NVDA using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is an application marketed by NV Access. Sometimes, people try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is troublesome because deleting this manually takes some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY manner to uninstall NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find NVDA or simply activate the Search field and type in "NVDA". The NVDA program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select NVDA in the list of programs, some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for NVDA:





  • The publisher is: https://www.nvaccess.org/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall NVDA.

8. After removing NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
