A guide to uninstall NVDA from your PC

NVDA is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. It is written by NV Access. Check out here for more info on NV Access. Please follow if you want to read more on NVDA on NV Access's web page. The program is often found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA directory. Take into account that this path can differ depending on the user's preference. You can remove NVDA by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. NVDA's primary file takes about 64.17 KB (65712 bytes) and is named nvda_uiAccess.exe.

How to erase NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is an application offered by the software company NV Access. Frequently, people want to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK manner to uninstall NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows PC.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find NVDA or simply activate the Search field and type in "NVDA". If it is installed on your PC the NVDA program will be found very quickly. When you select NVDA in the list of programs, some data about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about NVDA, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall NVDA.

8. After removing NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
