A way to uninstall NVDA from your PC

NVDA is a software application. This page holds details on how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows version was created by NV Access. Further information on NV Access can be found here. More info about the program NVDA can be seen at . NVDA is commonly installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA directory, however this location may differ a lot depending on the user's option when installing the application. You can remove NVDA by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. NVDA's primary file takes around 65.17 KB (66736 bytes) and is called nvda_uiAccess.exe.

NVDA is composed of the following executables which occupy 1.28 MB (1343237 bytes) on disk:

A way to remove NVDA from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program offered by the software company NV Access. Some people choose to erase it. This can be troublesome because removing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK manner to erase NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your computer.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate NVDA or simply click the Search field and type in "NVDA". If it exists on your system the NVDA app will be found very quickly. When you click NVDA in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove NVDA.

8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
