A way to uninstall NVDA from your PC

This web page contains detailed information on how to uninstall NVDA for Windows. It was coded for Windows by NV Access. Check out here where you can get more info on NV Access. More details about the program NVDA can be seen at http://www.nvaccess.org/. Usually the NVDA program is installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA directory, depending on the user's option during install. The entire uninstall command line for NVDA is C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the programs's main file and it takes about 63.59 KB (65112 bytes) on disk.

When you're planning to uninstall NVDA you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories that were found:

The files below remain on your disk by NVDA when you uninstall it:

How to uninstall NVDA from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is an application released by the software company NV Access. Frequently, people choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this by hand takes some experience regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate NVDA or simply click the Search field and type in "NVDA". If it is installed on your PC the NVDA app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click NVDA in the list , the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for NVDA:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall NVDA.


8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
