A way to uninstall NVDA from your PC

NVDA is a Windows program. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by NV Access. You can find out more on NV Access or check for application updates here. Please follow if you want to read more on NVDA on NV Access's website. NVDA is normally set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder, depending on the user's option. C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe is the full command line if you want to uninstall NVDA. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the NVDA's primary executable file and it takes around 65.17 KB (66736 bytes) on disk.

The following executables are incorporated in NVDA. They occupy 597.62 KB (611960 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall NVDA from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program released by NV Access. Sometimes, users want to erase this application. Sometimes this can be hard because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to erase NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find NVDA or simply activate the Search field and type in "NVDA". If it exists on your system the NVDA app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select NVDA in the list , the following information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about NVDA, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
For example you can see that for NVDA:





  • The web site of the program is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall NVDA.

8. After removing NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing NVDA using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
