A guide to uninstall NVDA from your computer

This web page is about NVDA for Windows. Below you can find details on how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by NV Access. Further information on NV Access can be found here. More information about NVDA can be seen at . The application is often found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall NVDA by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. nvda_uiAccess.exe is the NVDA's primary executable file and it takes approximately 64.17 KB (65712 bytes) on disk.

The following executable files are incorporated in NVDA. They occupy 515.93 KB (528312 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove NVDA from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program by NV Access. Sometimes, people try to remove it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because performing this manually takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY manner to remove NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button
Go to Uninstall Programs


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find NVDA or simply click the Search field and type in "NVDA". If it exists on your system the NVDA program will be found automatically. When you click NVDA in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding NVDA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
For instance you can see that for NVDA:





  • The software company is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall NVDA.

8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
