A guide to uninstall NVDA from your PC

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.nvda-addon
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\NVDA.Addon.1
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\NVDA
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVDA

A way to erase NVDA with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is an application by NV Access. Some computer users try to erase this application. This is troublesome because performing this manually requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK manner to erase NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate NVDA or simply activate the Search field and type in "NVDA". If it is installed on your PC the NVDA program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select NVDA in the list of applications, the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about NVDA, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for NVDA:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall NVDA.


8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of NVDA that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
