How to uninstall NVDA from your PC

NVDA is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows version was developed by NV Access. Further information on NV Access can be seen here. More data about the program NVDA can be seen at . The program is usually found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA folder. Keep in mind that this location can vary being determined by the user's choice. NVDA's full uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe. NVDA's primary file takes about 64.13 KB (65664 bytes) and its name is nvda_uiAccess.exe.

The executable files below are installed along with NVDA. They occupy about 498.12 KB (510072 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

NVDA is a program offered by NV Access. Some users decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK solution to uninstall NVDA is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find NVDA or simply click the Search feature and type in "NVDA". The NVDA application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click NVDA in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding NVDA, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for NVDA:





  • The publisher is: http://www.nvaccess.org/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall NVDA.

8. After uninstalling NVDA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong NVDA which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling NVDA with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
