A way to erase Freeplane from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Freeplane is a program by Open source. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall this program. This can be hard because doing this manually takes some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY way to uninstall Freeplane is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Freeplane or simply click the Search field and type in "Freeplane". If it exists on your system the Freeplane program will be found very quickly. When you click Freeplane in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Freeplane, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Freeplane.

8. After removing Freeplane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Freeplane which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Freeplane with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
