A way to uninstall Freeplane from your PC

Freeplane is a Windows application. How to erase Freeplane using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Freeplane is an application released by the software company Open source. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove this application. This can be difficult because doing this manually requires some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK approach to remove Freeplane is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Freeplane or simply click the Search field and type in "Freeplane". If it is installed on your PC the Freeplane program will be found very quickly. After you click Freeplane in the list of apps, the following information about the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Freeplane, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Freeplane\unins000.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Freeplane.

8. After removing Freeplane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Freeplane that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Freeplane with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
