How to erase Freeplane from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Freeplane is a program released by Open source. Sometimes, people try to erase it. This can be hard because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best EASY procedure to erase Freeplane is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Freeplane or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Freeplane". The Freeplane app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Freeplane in the list of programs, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Freeplane, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Freeplane:

• The publisher is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeplane/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Freeplane\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Freeplane.


8. After removing Freeplane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Freeplane that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Freeplane with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
