How to uninstall Freeplane from your PC

How to erase Freeplane from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Freeplane is an application by Open source. Frequently, people decide to erase it. • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Freeplane or simply click the Search field and type in "Freeplane". The Freeplane program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Freeplane in the list of apps, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Freeplane, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Freeplane:

• The publisher is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeplane/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Freeplane\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Freeplane.


8. After removing Freeplane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Freeplane that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
