How to delete Freeplane using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Freeplane is a program offered by the software company Open source. Sometimes, users choose to erase it. This can be efortful because performing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK action to erase Freeplane is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Freeplane or simply activate the Search field and type in "Freeplane". If it is installed on your PC the Freeplane program will be found very quickly. When you select Freeplane in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Freeplane, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Freeplane:

• The web site of the application is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeplane/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Freeplane\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Freeplane.


8. After uninstalling Freeplane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Freeplane that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Freeplane with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
