A way to delete Freeplane from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Freeplane is an application marketed by the software company Open source. Some computer users try to uninstall it. This can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE action to uninstall Freeplane is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Freeplane or simply activate the Search field and type in "Freeplane". The Freeplane app will be found automatically. After you click Freeplane in the list of apps, the following data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Freeplane, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Freeplane:

• The publisher is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeplane/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Freeplane\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Freeplane.


8. After uninstalling Freeplane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Freeplane that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
