A way to uninstall Freeplane from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Freeplane is an application by Open source. Frequently, users try to remove it. This can be hard because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Freeplane or simply click the Search field and type in "Freeplane". If it exists on your system the Freeplane program will be found automatically. When you select Freeplane in the list , the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Freeplane, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Freeplane.

8. After removing Freeplane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Freeplane that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Freeplane using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
