How to uninstall Fiddler from your PC

Fiddler is a Windows application. How to uninstall Fiddler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Fiddler is an application released by Telerik. Frequently, users want to remove it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY practice to remove Fiddler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Fiddler or simply activate the Search field and type in "Fiddler". If it exists on your system the Fiddler app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Fiddler in the list of programs, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Fiddler, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Fiddler:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Fiddler2\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Fiddler.


8. After uninstalling Fiddler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Fiddler that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
