When you're planning to uninstall Fiddler you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders that were found:

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules\{D2195AB9-BB8A-40B9-9F12-B19ECF584C5A}

A way to remove Fiddler from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Fiddler is an application marketed by the software company Telerik. Some users try to remove this program. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY procedure to remove Fiddler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Fiddler or simply click the Search field and type in "Fiddler". The Fiddler program will be found automatically. After you click Fiddler in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Fiddler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Fiddler:

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Fiddler.


8. After removing Fiddler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Fiddler which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Fiddler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
