A way to erase Fiddler from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Fiddler is an application offered by Telerik. Sometimes, users decide to erase this program. Sometimes this is efortful because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase Fiddler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Fiddler or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Fiddler". If it exists on your system the Fiddler program will be found automatically. After you select Fiddler in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Fiddler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Fiddler:

• The publisher is: http://fiddler2.com/
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Fiddler2\uninst.exe"

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Fiddler.


8. After removing Fiddler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Fiddler which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
