How to uninstall Fiddler from your computer

How to uninstall Fiddler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Fiddler is an application marketed by the software company Telerik. Some users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE approach to remove Fiddler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Fiddler or simply click the Search feature and type in "Fiddler". If it exists on your system the Fiddler program will be found very quickly. After you select Fiddler in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Fiddler, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Fiddler:

• The publisher is: http://fiddler2.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Fiddler2\uninst.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Fiddler.


8. After removing Fiddler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Fiddler that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Fiddler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
