Fiddler has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Fiddler from your PC:

Usually the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\Fiddler_RASAPI32
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\Fiddler_RASMANCS

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules\{2A9E1570-06E3-45A3-9152-116D8195E5ED}

A way to delete Fiddler from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Fiddler is a program by Telerik. Frequently, people try to uninstall it. This can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Fiddler or simply activate the Search field and type in "Fiddler". If it is installed on your PC the Fiddler app will be found automatically. When you click Fiddler in the list , some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Fiddler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Fiddler:

• The publisher is: http://fiddler2.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Fiddler2\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Fiddler.


8. After removing Fiddler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Fiddler which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
