How to remove Airfoil using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Airfoil is an application by the software company Rogue Amoeba. Frequently, computer users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this is hard because deleting this by hand requires some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY solution to uninstall Airfoil is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Airfoil or simply click the Search field and type in "Airfoil". If it exists on your system the Airfoil app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Airfoil in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Airfoil, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Airfoil:

• The software company is: http://RogueAmoeba.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Airfoil\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Airfoil.


8. After uninstalling Airfoil, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Airfoil that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Airfoil with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
