How to delete GitHub Desktop from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is a program by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Some people decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because performing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY action to uninstall GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find GitHub Desktop or simply click the Search feature and type in "GitHub Desktop". The GitHub Desktop app will be found automatically. After you click GitHub Desktop in the list of programs, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of GitHub Desktop that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing GitHub Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
