Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you remove GitHub Desktop.

A way to uninstall GitHub Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application offered by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Frequently, people try to uninstall it. • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate GitHub Desktop or simply click the Search field and type in "GitHub Desktop". If it is installed on your PC the GitHub Desktop app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click GitHub Desktop in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall GitHub Desktop.


8. After uninstalling GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong GitHub Desktop that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GitHub Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
