How to remove GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application released by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Sometimes, users choose to erase it. This can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to PCs. The best SIMPLE way to erase GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find GitHub Desktop or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GitHub Desktop". The GitHub Desktop program will be found very quickly. When you click GitHub Desktop in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong GitHub Desktop which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
