How to delete GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application marketed by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Frequently, users want to remove this program. This is difficult because removing this manually takes some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE manner to remove GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate GitHub Desktop or simply activate the Search field and type in "GitHub Desktop". If it exists on your system the GitHub Desktop program will be found automatically. When you click GitHub Desktop in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong GitHub Desktop that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GitHub Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
