A way to delete GitHub Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application offered by GitHub, Inc.. Frequently, computer users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this can be troublesome because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE action to remove GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate GitHub Desktop or simply click the Search field and type in "GitHub Desktop". If it exists on your system the GitHub Desktop application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select GitHub Desktop in the list of apps, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall GitHub Desktop.


8. After uninstalling GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong GitHub Desktop which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing GitHub Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
