A way to delete GitHub Desktop from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application marketed by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Some people decide to erase this application. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this manually requires some know-how related to PCs. One of the best QUICK practice to erase GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find GitHub Desktop or simply click the Search feature and type in "GitHub Desktop". If it is installed on your PC the GitHub Desktop program will be found automatically. When you select GitHub Desktop in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GitHub Desktop which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
