A way to delete GitHub Desktop from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is a program offered by GitHub, Inc.. Frequently, computer users try to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some skill related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find GitHub Desktop or simply click the Search field and type in "GitHub Desktop". The GitHub Desktop program will be found automatically. After you select GitHub Desktop in the list , some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall GitHub Desktop.


8. After uninstalling GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong GitHub Desktop that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
