How to uninstall GitHub Desktop from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is a program offered by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Some users decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find GitHub Desktop or simply activate the Search field and type in "GitHub Desktop". If it is installed on your PC the GitHub Desktop app will be found automatically. After you click GitHub Desktop in the list of applications, the following data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about GitHub Desktop, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong GitHub Desktop which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
