A way to delete GitHub Desktop from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application offered by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Sometimes, people try to erase it. This can be hard because doing this by hand requires some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best QUICK action to erase GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find GitHub Desktop or simply click the Search feature and type in "GitHub Desktop". If it exists on your system the GitHub Desktop program will be found very quickly. When you click GitHub Desktop in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GitHub Desktop, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of GitHub Desktop which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
