How to delete GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is a program marketed by GitHub, Inc.. Frequently, people decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK approach to remove GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate GitHub Desktop or simply click the Search field and type in "GitHub Desktop". The GitHub Desktop app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select GitHub Desktop in the list of programs, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about GitHub Desktop, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of GitHub Desktop that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
