How to remove GitHub Desktop from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application offered by the software company GitHub, Inc.. Sometimes, people want to erase this program. Sometimes this is hard because doing this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY manner to erase GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate GitHub Desktop or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GitHub Desktop". The GitHub Desktop application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click GitHub Desktop in the list , the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of GitHub Desktop which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GitHub Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
