A way to uninstall GitHub Desktop from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is a program offered by GitHub, Inc.. Sometimes, users want to remove this application. This can be efortful because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY procedure to remove GitHub Desktop is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate GitHub Desktop or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GitHub Desktop". The GitHub Desktop app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click GitHub Desktop in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall GitHub Desktop.


8. After removing GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of GitHub Desktop which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GitHub Desktop using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
